Terms of Service
Last updated: August 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of Equipe’s apps and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a club, you confirm you have authority to bind that club.
Your account
You need an account to use the Service. Keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Clubs and roles
Equipe organizes content by club. Club owners and admins control membership, roles, and club settings; joining a club makes your profile and ride activity visible to its members. Leaving a club (or being removed by an admin) ends that visibility for future activity.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you post — profiles, rides, routes, photos, posts, and comments. You grant us the license needed to host, display, and share that content within the Service. Don’t post content that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive; we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Riding is at your own risk
Cycling is an inherently risky activity. Equipe is an organizational tool — we do not organize, lead, supervise, or insure rides. Ride leaders and participants are solely responsible for their own safety, conduct, equipment, and compliance with traffic laws. Route, weather, and location information in the app is provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or out of date — always use your own judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Equipe is not liable for personal injury, death, or property damage arising from rides organized through the Service.
Third-party services
Optional integrations (such as Strava and Ride with GPS) are governed by those services’ own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or for content imported from them.
Acceptable use
- Don’t interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Don’t access other clubs’ data or attempt to bypass access controls.
- Don’t use the Service to spam, harass, or impersonate.
- Don’t scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service without our written permission.
Beta status and availability
Equipe is currently in beta. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind; features may change and downtime may occur. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as liability limits) survive.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are material we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
