Planning a ride
How do edits to a recurring ride work?
When you edit or delete one instance of a recurring ride, you choose a scope. Pick one instance to change only that ride. Pick the future scope to change this ride and every later instance in the series. See Recurring rides for the steps.
Why is my ride marked Pending Approval?
Some clubs require an admin to approve rides created by a plain ride lead. Your club turned this setting on for your role. Admins and owners do not need approval for the rides they create. See Ride approval for what happens next.
Who approves a pending ride?
By default, any admin or owner in the club can approve a pending ride. Some clubs instead assign one approver per discipline. Ask your club admin which mode your club uses. See Ride approval for the approval steps.
Who can add a co-lead to my ride?
Only an admin or owner can add a co-lead to a ride. A plain ride lead cannot add a co-lead, even to a ride they created themselves. Ask an admin or owner to add the co-lead for you. See Co-leads for the steps.
Can a co-lead do everything I can do as the ride lead?
Yes. A co-lead has the same rights as the ride lead on that ride, including editing, canceling, and running check-in. See Co-leads for the steps.
Can I edit a ride after riders sign up?
Yes. You can change the title, description, discipline, level, date, time, location, and capacity at any time, even after the ride starts or ends. Riders who already signed up keep their spot after an edit. See Edit a ride for the steps.
Can I delete a ride after it starts or ends?
No. You can only delete a ride while it is a draft or scheduled. Once a ride is active, completed, or cancelled, you can still edit it, but you can no longer delete it. See Delete a ride for the steps.
Can I lead a ride entirely from the web app?
You plan on the web. Create a ride, edit it, assign co-leads, and cancel it there. Starting a ride, checking in riders, and ending a ride happen only on the iOS or Android app. See Start a ride for the phone steps.
How do I share a ride outside the club?
Tap or click Share on the ride to send its link or copy it. The link only opens the ride for someone who signs in and is a member of your club. See Share a ride for the steps.

Why do I not see a Check In button?
Check-in appears only on the iOS and Android apps, never on the web app. On mobile, it also depends on a club setting: an owner must turn on manual ride lifecycle mode with check-in enabled. See Check in riders for the steps.
How do I check in a rider who arrives late?
Open Check in riders and tap the rider's name at any time while the ride is scheduled or in progress. A late arrival gets checked in with the same tap as everyone else. See Check in riders for the steps.
What does auto-end do?
Auto-end closes an active ride once its scheduled end time passes, so you do not have to end it by hand. An owner turns this on as the club's ride lifecycle setting. Even with auto-end off, the app closes a forgotten active ride a few hours after its scheduled end. See Ride settings for the setting.
How do I hand a ride to a co-lead if I cannot make it?
Open the ride and start to withdraw. If you are the primary lead, the app asks you to pick a replacement before you can withdraw. Choose a co-lead, a signed-up rider, or another active member, and confirm the transfer. See Transfer the lead for the steps.
What happens if no one is available to take over my ride?
If no co-lead, signed-up rider, or other active member can take the lead, the app has no one to transfer to and blocks your withdrawal. Ask another member to join or co-lead the ride first. See Transfer the lead for the steps.
How do I send an update to signed-up riders?
Open the ride and tap Send ride update. Type your message and send it. Every signed-up rider gets a push and an email, and the message stays on the ride as a dated note. See Send a ride update for the steps.
What happens to riders when I cancel a ride?
Every rider on the ride gets a push notification and an email that the ride is cancelled. The reason you give is stored with the ride so riders can see it. See Cancel a ride for the steps.
Can I undo a ride cancellation?
No. A cancelled ride cannot be reopened or restarted. Create a new ride if you want to run it after all. See Cancel a ride for the steps.
How do I see who is signed up for my ride?
Open the ride and check the participants list. It shows each rider, how many spots remain, and a check mark once a rider is checked in. See Participants for the details.

Why did my Strava or Ride with GPS import fail?
An import fails when your connection to the service expired or you never connected it. Open your settings and reconnect the service, then try the import again. See Import a route for the steps.
What happens to my routes if I disconnect Strava or Ride with GPS?
Routes you already imported stay in your club's route library. Disconnecting only removes your link to the service, so a later import needs you to reconnect first. See Disconnect a service for the steps.
Why did my GPX file upload fail?
The app only accepts a valid GPX file with at least one track point. A file of the wrong type, or a GPX file with no track, is rejected. See Upload a GPX file for the steps.
Can I browse the club's route library on my phone?
No. The route library is a page on the web app only. On iOS and Android, you choose a route from the library while you create or edit a ride. See Route library for the steps.
People
Who can see emergency contacts and when?
The member themselves, and every club owner and admin, can always see a member's emergency contact. A plain ride lead sees it only when the club setting allows it. By default, that means only while the ride lead is running an active ride. See Emergency contact for the steps.
Who can see a member's phone number or email?
A member's phone number and email stay hidden from other members unless that member turns on the matching privacy toggle. See Contact details and privacy for the steps.
Where do I turn off notifications I do not want as a ride lead?
Open your notification settings and switch off the categories you do not want, such as new rides, ride updates, or club news. You choose push and email separately for each category. See Notification settings for the steps.
