Account

How do I join a club?

Equipe clubs work by invitation only, so you need a link from a club admin. Tap or click the invite link, then set up your account. Read Accept an invitation for the steps.

How do I create my account?

You create your account the first time you open an invite link. Enter your name, set a password, and confirm your email address. Read Create your account for the steps.

How do I install the iOS and Android apps?

Get the Equipe app from the App Store on an iPhone or from Google Play on an Android phone. Sign in with the same email you used to accept your invitation. Read Install the apps for the steps.

How do I sign in?

Open the app or the web page and enter your email and password. If you created your account with Apple or Google, sign in with the same option. Read Sign in for the steps.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the sign-in screen, tap or click the link for a forgotten password. Equipe sends a reset link to your email address. Read Reset your password for the steps.

What happens the first time I sign in?

Equipe asks you to set up your profile before you see any rides. You add your name, your emergency contact, and your privacy choices for your phone number and email. Read First login setup for the steps.

Can I be in more than one club?

Yes. Your account can hold a membership in more than one club. Switch between them from a menu in the app or on the web. Read Switch club for the steps.

How do I delete my account?

Equipe has no in-app option to delete your account or its data. Contact your club admin, who can remove your membership from the club right away. For anything beyond that, ask your club admin how to take it further. See Manage members and roles for what the admin does.

Rides

How do I find a ride?

Open the rides list to see every upcoming ride in your club. Read Browse rides for the steps.

How do I search or filter rides?

Use the search box to find a ride by name, or use the filters to narrow the list by discipline, date, or workout level. Read Search and filter for the steps.

What does the calendar view show?

The calendar view lays out your rides by day and month, instead of as a plain list. Read Calendar view for the steps.

How do I see who else is going on a ride?

Open the ride and check its participant list. It shows everyone who joined, everyone on the waitlist, and everyone who is interested. Read Ride detail for the steps.

How do I join a ride?

Open the ride and tap or click Join. The ride lead sees you on the participant list right away. Read Join a ride for the steps.

What does the waitlist do?

When a ride reaches its rider limit, joining puts you on the waitlist instead of the participant list. If a spot opens up, the ride lead moves the next person from the waitlist onto the ride. Read Full rides and the waitlist for the steps.

How do I leave a ride?

Open the ride and withdraw your spot before the ride starts. Once a ride is in progress, the same action is called leave ride instead. Read Withdraw from a ride for the steps.

What is a workout level?

A workout level is a label your club sets for how hard a ride will be, such as Recovery, Endurance, or Threshold. Check the workout level on a ride before you join, so it matches your fitness plan. Read Ride detail for where it shows on a ride.

What do the ride status labels mean?

Every ride shows one of four statuses. Scheduled means the ride has not started, and In Progress means it is happening now. Completed means it is over, and Cancelled means the ride lead called it off. Read Ride states for what each one means for you.

Can I comment on a ride?

Yes. Open the ride and use its discussion thread to post a comment or reply to another member. Read Post a comment for the steps.

Privacy

Who can see my phone number?

Your phone number stays hidden from other club members unless you turn on Show Phone Number in your privacy settings. Only you can turn this setting on or off. Read Privacy settings for the steps.

Who can see my emergency contact?

Your emergency contact is visible to you, your club owner, and your club admins. Your club can also choose to let ride leads see it, so they have it on hand during a ride. Read Emergency contact for how to add or update yours.

How do I update my profile photo or name?

Open your profile and tap or click Edit. Change your name or photo and save. Read Your profile for the steps.

How do I change units or theme?

Settings lets you switch your distances between miles and kilometers, and your temperature between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Settings also lets you switch the app between light, dark, or system appearance. Read Units for the steps to change your units.

Notifications

How do I stop the emails?

Open your notification settings and turn off email for the type of message you no longer want. Every Equipe email also carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Read Email notifications for the steps.

Why do I not get push notifications?

First check that push is turned on in your notification settings. If it is on and notifications still do not arrive, check your phone settings. The phone itself can block notifications even when the app setting is on. Read Push notifications for the steps.

How do I turn off or change ride reminders?

Ride reminders have their own switch in your notification settings, separate from other notification types. Read Ride reminders for the steps.

Where do I turn notifications on or off?

All your notification choices live in one place, with a master switch plus a switch for each type of message. Read Notification settings for the steps.

Apps

Can I use Equipe on my phone and on the web at the same time?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on the web and on the app, and your rides and settings stay the same everywhere. Read Install the apps for how to set up the phone app.

Why can I not start or end a ride from the web app?

The web app is for planning rides, not for running them. Starting a ride, checking in riders, and ending a ride only happen on the iOS or Android app. Read Ride in progress for the steps on your phone.
